Ingredients:
- 1 box of Calhoun Bend Mill Apple Crisp Mix
- 1 (17.3 oz) package of frozen puff pastry
- 6 tablespoons of butter
- 4 oz of cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
Directions:
- Sprinkle flour over your working station and roll out 1 sheet of your thawed puff pastry. Spread melted butter over the top of the puff pastry making sure to leave a little border with no butter.
- Pour around 1/2 cup of the Calhoun Bend Mill Apple Crisp Mix on top of the butter and place the second puff pastry sheet on top. Spread butter over the top.
- Seal your pastry by using a fork around the edges.
- Cut into long strips. Place each strip in a “V” shape and then twist it around twice so that it resembles the outline of a bunny.
- Bake at 400 degrees for around 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of butter, and 1 tablespoon of vanilla until smooth. Add 1 cup of powdered sugar and 1/2 cup of the Calhoun Bend Mill Apple Crisp Mix and mix until smooth.
- Once the pastries have cooled, fill a ziplock bag with the spiced frosting and cut the tip of the bag. You can use this as your piping bag to pipe little bunny tails on your pastries. You can use the leftover frosting as a dipping sauce!
- ENJOY!
